French festival nominates Iran short film for semi-final

Iranian short film ‘Fog Tree’ has been selected among the shortlisted for the semi-final competition at the 20th ‘Les Films de la Toile’ short film festival in France.

Directed by Abbas Agha Khani and produced by Bushehr Youth Cinema Society, ‘Fog Tree’ centers around clear-cutting.

The only cast member is Helma Javanmardi.

The festival accepts movies with a run time of less than 5 minutes and is an internet-based event.

The 20th edition of ‘Les Films de la Toile’ short film festival is slated to be kicked off October 1, 2017 in Paris.
